When your temperature warning light displays or the temperature gauge reads hot, stop your vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so & switch off the ignition. Only after the engine cools down you can check the coolant level. Top up if required and identify if coolant is leaking onto the ground. Do not continue to drive the vehicle if coolant is leaking onto the ground or the temp warning comes back on.
